Takasho was established in 1980 as creator of gardening lifestyle and global high touch gardens. Takasho’s business theme is” Heart and Art”(creating a peaceful space) and continually transmits to the world a new garden culture.
Since the end of WW2, living places and lifestyle have drastically improved and after housing, the keyword has become gardens. The balance of home and garden(lifestyle) has become more and more important.
Takasho has 2 major divisions with the concept of “Wind, light, water, green” and the theme “be touched with the heart”. The first division is pro-use which handles products that require designing and construction. The other is home-use which handles products for people to buy and enjoy for themselves.
As for expansion overseas, Takasho has an affiliate company in Europe, “Takasho Europe.” Takasho Europe has drastically grown over the years and currently sells their products to close to 3000 retail shops. Pro-use and home-use products sales are expanding in markets in China, Korea, Taiwan as well, and the hope for the future is growing bigger.
Many of the products that we deal with at Takasho are a combination of heavy, large, long objects. However in order to make the gardening space a place for everyone in the family to enjoy with laughter and happiness, we believe that the consideration for others and the hard work put to create it is our number one product.
This is preciesly what we call “Living Garden”.
